Many home insurance policies ask for a home to be checked on a set schedule while it sits empty. Every Travel Watch visit is a dated, photographed record in your portal that you can give your insurer. What your policy requires is between you and your insurer. Read it, tell us what it says, and we'll tell you honestly whether the weekly cadence matches it or whether you need us there more often, which we can arrange at our hourly rate. Travel Watch needs a way in that stays under your control, like a lockbox or a smart lock you can revoke. If you'd rather we held a key or a code for you, we can, under a separate written custody arrangement you can cancel at any time.
The membership covers the proactive management of your home: the plan, the record, and getting third-party work sourced, quoted, and ready for your approval. The work itself is billed at the partner's actual cost plus a flat 15% coordination fee, quoted and approved before it proceeds. Dumeau's own time, whether carrying out a task ourselves or actively planning, coordinating, or handling issues on work you have approved, is billed at the published $120/hr rate.
